Class 3 Driver / Parts Picker

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing Ltd. (WBM) manufactures heavy equipment attachments and truck mounted cranes for the construction, forestry, mining and resource industries throughout Canada, U.S.A. and internationally.  Our manufacturing facility located in Edmonton, Alberta is currently recruiting a Driver / Parts Picker.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in delivering quality customer service, delivery and pick up of attachments, parts and supplies. The duties of this position may change from time to time given production schedule changes.

Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks

Working under the direction and supervision of the Shipping/ Receiving Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Determining the least expensive and quickest method of delivering and picking up parts and supplies
  • Following driving regulations and rules and exercising good judgment
  • Expediting orders and requests in a professional, prompt and helpful manner by picking and delivering orders
  • Providing exemplary service to customers by responding to their needs, answering inquiries
  • Checking for availability of parts
  • Picking parts from stock in accordance to the work order
  • Organizing stockroom and assisting parts department when needed
  • Preparing necessary paper work


  • Class 3 Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • A minimum of 2 years of directly related experience
  • Communication skills to read, listen, write and speak in a clear and concise manner to individuals at various levels
  • Time management and organizational skills to productively complete work and meet all expected deadlines
  • Problem solving skills to methodically and logically work through problems
  • Proficient computer skills to use soft applications (e.g. MS Office Suite, Internet, etc.)
  • Physically fit to lift items weighing up to 20 kg.

Note: Successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical evaluation and driver’s abstract upon hiring.
