Sales Account Manager

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a Sales Account Manager for the Langley, BC manufacturing team.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing full customer service to ensure customer satisfaction before, during and after the sales transaction
  • Identifying and assessing customer needs, showing customers how the products and services being offered satisfy those requirements and recommending the appropriate product and services
  • Developing, nurturing, establishing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Communicating with various staff to ensure customer orders are accurately processed and delivered as promised in a prompt and timely fashion
  • Promoting and selling WBM products while employing ethical business practices
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals and maximizing the production department capability to ensure the profitability of WBM
  • Identifying and accurately relaying pertinent customer information to the engineering department for product development
  • Compiling, writing and submitting accurate weekly and monthly sales reports prior to deadlines
  • Conducting one-on-one training, seminars or workshops to customers’ staff in the operation and maintenance of the product


  • Post secondary education in related field a definite asset
  • 3+ years related experience
  • Knowledge of heavy duty attachment products
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Ability to travel 2 weeks per month
  • Effective communication skills to listen, write and speak in a clear and concise manner to individuals at various levels
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively promote and sell WBM products and services or provide product training to customers
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Self motivated to manage his or her time effectively and productively
  • Works independently with minimal direction
  • Collaborates with others on the team to ensure the customer product order is correct
